CAPE TOWN WINS IOC SPORT AND ENVIRONMENT AWARD 2010 FIFA World Cup host city Cape Town has won the African section of the International Olympic Committee's Sport and Environment awards for its 2010 Green Goal Pro-gramme, at the recent World Conference on Sport and the Environment in Doha. The IOC Sport and En-vironment Award is presented every two years to members of the Olympic Movement for their con-tributions in the field of sustainable sport and the environment.
